New music and Chris Potter directs this Sunday's episode

This week we talk about music on the series and look ahead to the next new episode that will be coming this weekend.
(Heartland Season 15)

Hey Heartland fans!

With a new season of Heartland comes new songs on the show.  I typically keep a list of every song from the series over on the official Heartland website on CBC.  Some people use the list as a reference and some use it to create their own playlists.  Today I just wanted to let you all know that I've updated it with the songs from the first two episodes of Heartland Season 15.  Be sure to update your playlists!

Find the updated list here.

And speaking of music, many fans have asked about music on the series recently. In particular, about the song in the extended trailer and about one of the newest songs that was featured in the latest episode (1502).  The song in the trailer is by Rose Cousins and is called "Begin Again".  If you are having trouble finding it, know that sometimes the music department at Heartland gets access to songs before they are released publicly.  Look for it in the near future!

Also, on the latest episode of Heartland, there is a song called "Into the Arms of Home" and it was performed by Alan Doyle!

And what did you think of the second episode of Heartland Season 15?  This is the 226th episode of the longest running Family Drama in Canada. Can you believe it? In all of those years of episodes, we've made many friends and we got a surprise visit from one in the latest episode:

(Heartland Season 15)

What other surprises could be in store for us in the season ahead?

Another nice surprise: In this Sunday's new episode of Heartland, Chris Potter returns to direct. It's always wonderful to see him in front of, and behind, the camera! You may remember some of the great work he did last season, and he even wrote a guest blog about it! The episode was written by Ken Craw and is called "Bad Moon Rising".

Some info about Sunday's new episode:

When Amy works with the youth at Cooper's horse therapy centre, she is surprised to discover a teen with an inherent gift for horses. Meanwhile, Lou gets pressured by some of Hudson's "pillars of the community" to close Cooper's centre down over a rash of recent burglaries, and Lisa has Jack install a security system with Parker's "help".

What could go wrong?

Don't miss it this Sunday at 7/7:30NT on CBC and CBC Gem

Talk Show

In other Heartland news, Executive Producer Michael Weinberg is back with another "Heartland Talk Show". This week, he talks to Baye McPherson, who joined this season to play Katie.

That's all for today folks but don't forget to tune-in this Sunday at 7/7:30 NT to CBC and CBC Gem for the next NEW episode of Heartland and be sure to jump on your social media platform of choice afterward and let me know what you think!
