Today on the blog: How to watch and listen to National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on CBC
Hey Heartland fans. For the blog this week, I would like to talk about the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Today we take time to recognize and reflect on the tragic history and legacy of the residential school system in Canada. And for that reason, I want to dedicate today's blog to sharing some of the ways that you can watch CBC's programming that covers this.
CBC will have news features and special reports throughout the day from the CBC News Indigenous-led team investigating Residential Schools on The National, CBC News Network, World Report, The World at Six and CBC.ca/Indigenous.
As reported on CBC, "For the entire day, these stories will be broadcast across CBC TV, CBC News Network, CBC.ca, CBC Kids, CBC Radio One and CBC Music including a commercial-free primetime broadcast special, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation."
