Production on Season 14 of Heartland officially got underway this week in Alberta.

This year's round of TV looks a little different, especially behind the scenes, and our favourite multi-generational drama, enjoyed around the world, is no different. Production on Season 14 of Heartland has started a little later than we hoped and the work environment has changed a little due to the global pandemic. Don't worry, all necessary precautions are being taken to ensure the safety of cast and crew.

Executive Producer Tom Cox shares,

"We're grateful to be starting production of Season 14. We've spent several months developing enhanced health protocols and production practices that will help make filming safe for our cast and crew while ensuring that our new episodes are as beautiful and engaging as ever."

Everyone working on Season 14 of Heartland is excited to get the season ready. Not every show gets a chance to tell their stories for 14 seasons (hopefully beyond!) and we've been through tough times before thanks to mother nature, so we are ready for this challenge too.

As production gets underway, cast and crew have been sharing their experiences 'getting back in the saddle' and here's a bit of a round-up from this week so far:

Here's the press release from earlier this week.
