Heartland fans are dedicated and really live the story with the characters on the show and that's why we value the heartfelt stories from fans about why they love the show. So tell us why you love Heartland. Did something special pull you into the story? What season did you really get hooked? What is the moment in the show when you knew you were hooked on the series? How long have you been watching the series? Why are you Heartland's biggest fan?  

Share your thoughts on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram and use the hashtag #heartlandsbiggestfan. We will randomly pick 10 fans who use that hashtag and share their story about why they are Heartland's biggest fan to receive a special giveaway.

World Horse Day

As you may know, Monday was World Horse Day! This day, recognized annually on March 1st, is also known as Horse Protection Day. It's a day to celebrate horses, their connection with us and to shine a light on the challenges that some of these beautiful animals face today. We shared a post with some photos that feature horses on Heartland throughout the seasons:

New Episode this Sunday

I didn't want to end the blog without talking about the new episode that's coming this Sunday.  This Sunday's new episode is called "Changing Gears" and was written by Ken Craw and Directed by Jill Carter.

Ken, as you may know, has been writing and producing Heartland for a very long time, so you know the spirit of the longest-running Canadian family drama will be well represented in the new episode. And Jill, who is no stranger to directing, joins this season's stable of amazing talent who bring you only the best. She also directed the previous episode, "Courage" so, if you loved that episode as much as I did, I know you will find Sunday's new episode to be just what you need.  

In the episode, Caleb (yes!) finds a memento from the past that he thinks will have special meaning for Amy. But surprisingly, it's Jack who has some mixed emotions stirred up by the gift. Hrm, I wonder what it is. Here's a short preview if you want a hint:
