On Monday, alternative rock band Little India takes to the CBC's Musical Nooners stage for a charged performance that's sure to get the audience moving.

Little India

Little India's musical chemistry combines South African flair with Canadian heritage, tinged with British pop for an ever-changing sound that keeps listeners on their toes.

Relatively new to the music scene, Little India formed in late 2012.

Since their first gig in January 2013, the four-person band has shared the stage with the likes of Atlas Genius, The 1975, The Drums and Jets Overhead.

They've already been booked to perform at this year's Squamish Valley Music Festival

For a taste of what they'll bring to CBC Vancouver's outdoor stage, here's their music video Sleep.

The CBC Musical Nooners are a series of free, live music concerts every weekday from noon to 1 p.m. on the CBC Vancouver Plaza on Hamilton Street (between West Georgia and Robson).

While we do control the line-up, we can't control the weather. Follow us on Twitter at @CBCVancouver or #musicalnooners in case of changes to the schedule due to inclement weather.
