Sarnia police say human remains found on Saturday belong to man missing since 2023
Three individuals are in custody in connection with his death, police said
Sarnia police say the human remains found on Saturday in the area of Highway 40 and Lasalle Line belong to a man who's been missing since November of 2023.
The coroner's office has identified the remains as those of Bradley James Ogilvie, the Sarnia Police Service said in a news release issued Friday.
Officers had been investigating since Ogilvie disappeared, police said, and in October 2024 concluded that it was a homicide.
Three individuals in their 40s are each accused of first degree murder in Ogilvie's death and remain in custody.
"On behalf of the Sarnia Police Service, we extend our deepest condolences to Bradley's family and friends," Chief Derek Davis said in the release.
"It is our sincere hope that his recovery and return to his family will provide them a small measure of comfort and closure in this difficult time."
