Sarnia police investigating discovery of human remains

The Sarnia police are investigating human remains found in the area of Highway 40 and Lasalle Line.  Police Investigators and the Coroner's office are working to determine the identity of the remains and the cause of death.

The Sarnia Police Service is investigating after human remains were found in the area of Highway 40 and Lasalle Line on Saturday. 

The Sarnia Police said their investigators and the Coroner's office are still working to determine the identity of the remains and the person's cause of death. 

"This investigation will require an increased police presence in the area for several days while the scene is thoroughly processed," the police said Saturday in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
