Missing man last seen in RM of St. Clements found dead, police say

A man missing since Friday morning has been found dead, according to RCMP, who are investigating his death.

A man last seen in the RM of St. Clements on Thursday night has been found dead, RCMP said Saturday. 

Kristopher Sandy, 19, had left his home at about 10 p.m.Thursday to go for a drive in the municipality about 40 kilometres north of Winnipeg. 

He was reported missing Friday afternoon, RCMP said in a news release. 

Sandy's vehicle was found in a ditch off Highway 12 just before 7 a.m. on Friday, but there were no signs of Sandy, Mounties said on Friday. 

Police say the cause of his death is under investigation. They did not say where he was found.
