A 27-year-old man died Thursday, succumbing to wounds suffered during a July 22 shooting.
Saskatoon police say the violence happened between two people who police suspect didn't know each other.
The man, whose name has not yet been made public, was shot near the 2300 block of 33rd Street West.
The day of the shooting, police released a statement saying they were on the lookout for a black Nissan Titan with a black bumper. Police suspected the vehicle may have been involved in the shooting.
The truck left westbound in the alley behind where the incident happened with three male occupants.
Investigators from major crimes section, forensic Identification, and the chief coroner's office continue to investigate the homicide.
