30-year-old man dead in Gjoa Haven, after apparent stabbing
One person charged with second degree murder, Major Crime Unit investigating
RCMP have charged a person with second degree murder after the death of a 30-year-old man in Gjoa Haven, Nunavut.
Police say they responded to a report that a man had been stabbed, on June 25, around 8 p.m.

The man was taken to the local health centre for treatment, but later died from his injuries.
The N.W.T.'s coroner's office has scheduled an autopsy, and the death is being investigated by the RCMP's Major Crime and Forensic Identification units.
RCMP have arrested and charged a person, who has not been named, with one count of second degree murder, and are holding that person in custody.
He or she is scheduled to appear in court in Iqaluit on July 18.
