Man charged in Iqaluit convenience store robbery

A 24-year old man is facing three charges following a robbery last week at Iqaluit's newest convenience store.

A 24-year old man will appear in court on March 3 in connection with a robbery last week at Iqaluit's newest convenience store.

The store that opened in the Plateau subdivision in late January was robbed Feb. 10. 

Mason Nuqingak is in custody and has been charged with one count of robbery, and two counts of breach of probation.

Three different convenience stores have been robbed in the capital in the last few months.

Arctic Ventures Marketplace was also robbed on Tuesday night.
