A 19-year-old woman is dead after her car collided head-on with a pickup truck just outside Brandon Thursday.

A 19-year-old woman is dead after her car collided head-on with a pickup truck just outside Brandon Thursday.
RCMP were called to the scene two kilometres north of Forrest, Man. at 4:15 p.m.
They believe the woman was driving southbound when her vehicle veered over the centre line and collided head-on with a northbound pickup truck.
The driver of the truck, a 45-year-old Onanole man, was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
RCMP say both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the collision.
The investigation continues.
