A teenage boy from Ebb and Flow First Nation who was reported missing on Oct. 25 has been located, police say.

A teenage boy who was reported missing on Oct. 25 has been found safe, Manitoba RCMP say.

The 16-year-old boy was reported missing on Oct. 25, when he was last seen leaving his home in Ebb and Flow First Nation, about 180 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg, shortly before 11 a.m.

In an update Thursday, RCMP said the teen had been found safe.

A previous version of this story included the boy's name and photograph. CBC has removed the photo and his name to protect his privacy now that he has been found.
