Ingersoll man dead in 2 vehicle crash in Zorra Township

Provincial police in Oxford County are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed one driver and sent another to hospital late Thursday night east of London.

Provincial police in Oxford County are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed one driver and sent another to hospital late Thursday night east of London.  

Emergency services were called to Road 68 between 45th Line and Zorra-East Zorra Tavistock Line at around 10:50 p.m. A 27-year-old man from Ingersoll was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. 

The other driver, also a 27-year-old man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Road 68 remains closed for the investigation as of Friday morning. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
