Two men wanted following armed bank robbery in Kitchener
Police release two photos of suspects
Police are searching for two men after a Royal Bank in Kitchener was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon.
At 4:50 p.m., two men entered the bank on Fischer Hallman Road. One of the men had a gun, police said, and the suspects demanded cash.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from a customer, but not the bank.
No one was injured, police said.
The first suspect is described as a black man, six feet tall, with a thin build, weighing 120 to 140 lbs. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a black face covering. He was carrying a neon green and black shoulder bag.
The second suspect is described as black, five-foot-seven, tall with a thin build and weighing about 140 lbs. He was wearing a dark-coloured jacket with a grey hooded sweatshirt underneath and a black face covering.
Police have released photos of the suspects taken from security cameras inside the bank.
