Kaetlyn Osmond back training in Edmonton after breaking leg
Osmond's season off to splendid start winning gold in Germany on Saturday
After missing all of last season due to a broken leg, Kaetlyn Osmond is back in Edmonton to train for the upcoming season.
"It's absolutely amazing to just be able to train full time, being healthy and being able to compete again," she said.
"I feel a lot stronger than I've ever been. I'm healthier. The aches and pains aren't there as much as they used to be."

The former two time Canadian National champion says she's feeling better than ever since she broke her leg last year requiring surgery to insert a metal rod.
"Overall on the ice, I just feel stronger and more confident with everything I'm doing," she said. "Last year we had to bring everything back to the basics and it just made everything that much better."

After a lengthy period of rehabilitation and physiotherapy, Osmond says she's ready for the coming year.
And so far the year is off to a dream start.
On Saturday Osmond won gold with a personal-best score in women's singles in her 2015-16 season debut at the Nebelhorn Trophy figure skating competition in Obertsdorf, Germany.
"I still made so many mistakes, but it just means there's a long way to go this season and since I already got a personal best with a couple of mistakes, I'm excited for it."
The 19-year-old Osmond, who is originally from Marystown, N.L., but now lives and trains in the Edmonton area, won both the short and long programs.
Osmond is now training for two important grand prix competitions, one on home soil in Lethbridge, Alta., next month, to be followed by the 2015 NHK trophy in Japan in late November.
