Forty years ago, residents in Mill Woods were wrestling with many of the same growing pains new Edmonton suburbs face today, as promised schools and other amenities could not keep up with community demands.

When the planned Edmonton community of Mill Woods was just starting to become populated forty years ago, some residents felt promised services, that were a part of the initial plan, never came to light.
