X-Files' David Duchovny tweets Vancouver as he returns to film reboot
Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully will return to television on Jan. 24, 2016
Hollywood actor David Duchovny has returned to Vancouver to begin filming for the X-Files reboot.
On Twitter Thursday, Duchovny posted a photo looking out of a plane window, with a caption saying "Hello Vancouver?"

The actor and his co-star Gillian Anderson will reprise their roles as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, tasked with investigating mysterious cases.
But while most fans on Twitter were excited about Duchovy's return to the city, it seems some have not forgotten about the actor's controversial comments about Vancouver in the past.
During its early seasons, the X-Files was filmed in Vancouver, but moved its production to Los Angeles because Duchovny reportedly didn't like the city's climate.
According to published reports, he once said Vancouver was OK — if you liked 400 inches of rainfall a day.
