Taphouse Pub bouncer in hospital after being stabbed

The attack reportedly started when the bouncer denied access to the suspect.

The suspect stabbed the bouncer multiple times in the front of the club and took off in a Mercedes Benz

A bouncer was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his head and back after being stabbed in front of the Taphouse Pub in Guildford early Sunday morning

Kashish Jain was in a lineup outside the pub when he witnessed the stabbing.

"They were fighting with some … guy," said Jain. "He hit him on the back of his head … on the back of his shoulder. It was brutal."

The suspect then ran into the rear seat of a white coloured Mercedes-Benz sedan and fled. The car was last seen heading eastbound on 102 Ave.

Surrey RCMP describe the suspect as:

  • Caucasian male
  • Approximately 5 feet and 10 inches tall, with dark hair.
  • Wearing a light coloured shirt and dark pants.  

The bouncer was taken to hospital with multiple stab wounds to his neck, but is currently in stable condition.
