Surrey RCMP seek tips in stabbing at 121 Street and 73 Avenue

Police say altercation between two people culminated with one being stabbed and sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Surrey RCMP are seeking tips in locating a suspect in a stabbing that happened Sunday around 5:30 p.m. PT near 121 Street and 73 Avenue.

"Upon arrival, officers located a 38-year-old male suffering from stab wounds who was being transported to local area hospital in stable condition with life threatening injuries," said a release from Surrey RCMP.

Police said they believe that a fight between two people resulted in the stabbing. Investigators have spoken with some witnesses.
