'Mindy Project' staying on Canadian TV despite being dropped in U.S.

Canadians will still be able to watch the 'Mindy Project' on TV — even though Americans can't.

Show will still air on City even though new season won't be available on TV for Americans

Canadian fans of "The Mindy Project" wondering where they will be able to watch next season's episodes don't have to look far after City announced it will air the new season in Canada.

The sitcom's Canadian broadcaster says Mindy Kaling's workplace comedy is returning to its primetime schedule, despite being dropped by Fox.

Distraught fans took their disappointment online after the show was cancelled by the U.S. network earlier this month, but soon after, streaming service Hulu said it would give the single-camera show a fourth season.

But what of Canada, where Hulu is not available?

City says nothing has changed up here and Canadian fans will be able to catch new episodes this fall.
