With a musical connection that only siblings can share, B.C. brother-sister duo Qristina and Quinn Bachand bring their Celtic and roots sound to the CBC Musical Nooners stage Thursday.

Raised in Victoria, B.C., the Bachands have emerged as a Celtic music powerhouse with Qristina's inspiring vocals and fiddling, and Quinn's virtuosity on the guitar.

Qristina & Quinn Bachands won the 2010 Top Traditional Group and 2011 Top Duo at the Irish Music Awards, and have also received three Canadian Folk Music Award nominations since 2009.

This year they released their third album Little Hinges, which blends spirited new sounds to traditional Celtic music.
