BC Hydro has restored power to 1000 customers in downtown Vancouver.
The utility tweeted the power was back on at 5:40 p.m. PT after it was knocked out just before noon when an underground duct was damaged.
The outage impacted people living east of Howe Street, south of Cordova Street, North of Beatty Street and West of Columbia Street.
