Abbotsford Police searching for suspect in sexual assault

Abbotsford Police are searching for a suspect in a sexual assault that happened in a store on South Fraser Way.

The man grabbed the lone female employee of a store on South Fraser Way and tried to kiss her, police say.

Abbotsford Police are searching for a suspect in a sexual assault that happened in a store in the 32500 block of South Fraser Way.

Police say the attack happened around 8:50 p.m. on March 14, when a man followed the lone female employee to the back of the store and tried to grab and kiss her.

The employee pushed the man back and told the suspect to leave the store. She called police shortly after.

Police describe the man as a South Asian male in his late 20s, around 6'1" tall with a thin build.

The man also has dark hair, a beard and acne.

He was wearing a Puma track suit and black Adidas shoes.
