Police say east Windsor home shot at by minibike rider appears to be targeted shooting

It happened near a Jefferson Boulevard residence near Tecumseh Road East. According to authorities, multiple shots were fired into the home — and that the suspect fled westbound on Empress Street.

Police are investigating after they say someone riding a pocket bike — or tiny motorcycle — in east Windsor, shot at a home around 4 a.m. on Dec. 16.

It happened near a Jefferson Boulevard residence near Tecumseh Road East.

According to authorities, multiple shots were fired into the home — and that the suspect fled westbound on Empress Street.

"No physical injuries were reported as a result of this incident," police said in a statement. 

"A preliminary investigation has determined that this was a targeted shooting."

Investigators are urging residents and businesses in the area to check any surveillance or dash dam footage for potential clues between 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 16.
