19-year-old dies in head-on collision in Chatham-Kent

Chatham-Kent police say a 19-year-old is dead after a head-on collision between two vehicles on Queens Line Monday.

It happened between Wheeler Line and Davidson Road, police said in a news release issued Tuesday.

"The Chatham-Kent Police Service sends our deepest condolences to the family and
friends of the deceased," a statement reads. 

The police service's traffic management unit took over the investigation.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information that may help the investigation to contact the Chatham-Kent Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
