An 87-year-old woman from Carleton Place has died in the hospital after a collision on Boxing Day, police say.
The woman was one of the drivers involved in a two-vehicle crash in Innisville, Ont., east of Perth, Ont., Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said in a news release Thursday.
The collision happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 26, and both drivers were taken to hospital. The woman died on New Year's Day, police said.
Lanark OPP said they investigated alongside other units and found one vehicle had "pulled onto Highway 7" and collided with an oncoming vehicle.
The investigation continues, police say.
