Fuel prices increase across N.L. in weekly adjustment
Gas up 1.9 cents per litre
All fuel prices increased in Newfoundland and Labrador on Friday morning in the weekly adjustment from the Public Utilities Board.
Gasoline increased by 1.9 cents per litre, raising the price to $1.662 on the Avalon Peninsula.
In Newfoundland as well as western Labrador and Churchill Falls, the price of diesel increased by 2.6 cents per litre.
Furnace heating oil went up by 2.21 cents per litre.
Stove oil in Newfoundland saw the biggest hike, increasing by 2.57 cents per litre. In Labrador and Churchill Falls stove oil increased slightly less, going up 2.10 cents per litre.
Propane heating fuel climbed by 0.1 cents per litre.
The next scheduled adjustment will be on Jan. 9.
