68-year-old man dead after snowmobile crash in Caledonia Mountain

A 68-year-old man from Hillsborough has died after a snowmobile crash in Caledonia Mountain, N.B., on Saturday night.

A 68-year-old man from Hillsborough, N.B., died in a snowmobile crash Saturday in Caledonia Mountain.

According to the news release, the Caledonia Region RCMP responded to a report of a snowmobile crash at 9 p.m. Police say the snowmobile veered off a trail and hit a tree.

The driver of the snowmobile died at the scene. There were no passengers and no one else was injured. 

An investigation is underway.
