Ex-Bomber VP Jim Bell to carry ball for Tories in federal election
Former Winnipeg Blue Bombers vice-president Jim Bell has scored his first political victory.
No official announcement has been made by the party but on Sunday night Browaty sent congratulations to Bell via Twitter
Congratulation to Jim Bell on winning the Kildonan-St. Paul Conservative nomination. He will make a fantastic candidate and MP.

The federal election is set for October.
Conservative MP Joy Smith, who has represented Kildonan-St. Paul since 2004, said earlier this year that she would not seek re-election.
Bell, who was with the Bombers from 2002 until 2014, was let go in August last year as part of what the team called "corporate restructuring."
