2nd arrest made in Port Colborne homicide, one suspect outstanding: police
47-year-old man, 36-year-old woman charged with first-degree murder
Niagara police have arrested a second person in connection with the homicide of a man found dead in Port Colborne in August.
A 47-year-old man from Niagara Falls was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the death of Daniel Sanvido, 38, on Saturday, according to a police news release.
Officers responded to a call on Aug. 24 near Forkes Road and Highway 140 about a dead man found in a grassy area.
This arrest comes two days after a 36-year-old woman from St. Catharines was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the same case.
Police are seeking a third suspect, a 47-year-old man from Niagara Falls, who they consider armed and dangerous. He is also wanted for first-degree murder.
