After Niagara police began investigating the death of a 38-year-old man in Port Colborne, Ont., in August, they have now charged a St. Catharines, Ont., woman, 36, with his murder and say they're seeking two more suspects.

The woman was in custody awaiting a bail hearing in St. Catharines Friday, Niagara Regional Police Service said in a morning news release.

They arrested her Thursday and charged her with the first-degree murder of Daniel Sanvido.

Around 3 p.m., Friday, police said they're looking for two 47-year-old men from Niagara Falls, Ont., who they also want to charge with first-degree murder in Sanvido's death.

Police said they consider the men "armed and dangerous," and anyone with information about where they are should call 911.

"Both men are encouraged to contact legal counsel and make arrangements to surrender themselves into police custody," the release said.

Police began investigating Sanvido's death as a homicide in August, soon after someone reported finding his body in a rural area off the roadway near Forkes Road and Highway 140 in Port Colborne.

Police haven't said where, when or how Sanvido died.

"The specifics regarding how and why he was killed remain part of the ongoing investigation. We can share that Daniel and the accused persons were all known to each other," police spokesperson Stephanie Sabourin told CBC Hamilton in an email.
