2nd suspect arrested in connection with North Battleford homicide

A second arrest has been made in connection with the homicide of Jordan Wright in North Battleford earlier this year.

A second arrest has been made in connection with the homicide of Jordan Wright in North Battleford, Sask., earlier this year.

Wright was found injured after a gun was fired at a home on 93rd Street on Feb 2, RCMP said in a news release. 

He was pronounced dead on scene.

A 17-year-old Saskatoon man has been charged with manslaughter and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, RCMP say. He can not be named due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The first suspect, 26-year-old Xavier Lonesinger, was taken into custody on Dec. 7.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about Jordan Wright's death to contact the RCMP.
