2 men charged with break and enter, assault in Christmas Day shooting

2 men found with gunshot wounds in Pleasant Grove
Two men have been charged in connection with a shooting early Christmas day at a residence in Pleasant Grove, P.E.I., the RCMP major crime unit says.
Brodie Joseph McQuaid, 23 of Mill Cove, and Matthew Lindsey Eric Clarke, 28, of Bedford, have each been charged with break and enter and assault, police said in a statement released Thursday morning.
RCMP responded to a call at 1 a.m. Dec. 25 where they found two men, aged 23 and 28, with gunshot wounds.

On Dec. 26, police charged Matthew Brian Misener, 30, of Pleasant Grove, with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of careless use of a firearm.
Misener, McQuaid and Clarke are all scheduled to appear in court in Charlottetown on Feb. 22.
