2 men suffer gunshot wounds in Pleasant Grove

30-year-old man arrested and remains in custody
Two men suffered gunshot wounds and a third man is in custody after an incident early Christmas Day in Pleasant Grove.
Queens District RCMP responded to a 911 call at 1 a.m. and found two men with gunshot wounds. The men, aged 23 and 28 years, were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
One of men was transported to Halifax for further treatment. The extent of his injuries is unknown, stated the RCMP in a release.
The second man was treated and released from Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown.
A 30-year-old man was arrested and remains in custody.
Police advise there is no risk to the public.
The RCMP's major crime section, forensic identification unit and police dog unit have been involved in the investigation.
RCMP remain on the scene to gather evidence to pursue unspecified charges in court.
