- Craft knife
- Rolling pin
- Cutting board
- Square lipstick cap
- Thick silver ring (or circular lipstick cap)
- Baking tray
- Parchment paper
- Industrial glue
- Earring blanks
- Pliers
- 2 pendant bails
- Gold chain
- 1 necklace clasp
- 2 jump rings

Grab your black and white polymer clay and cut them into 6 individual pieces (3 white and 3 black).

Roll the clay between your hands into six individual strands.

Intertwine a black strand and a white one to create a twist. Twirl the remaining strands around the twist to create a clay rope. Continue twirling the rope on itself until it becomes a ball. Now roll the ball in your hands until it becomes a smooth sphere.

Glue two pendant bails to the back of one of the clay rectangles. Thread the gold chain through the pendant bails. Close the pendant bails with pliers.
