If January’s got you feeling a little sluggish, or just plain cold, this beverage is just what your evenings are calling for. A departure from a traditional nightcap, this sipper is certainly dry January-approved. Made with ginger and turmeric, known to have anti-inflammatory properties, this is a delicious and nutritious sipper the perfect beverage to curl up on the couch with this winter.
Ingredients
- 2 cups coconut milk
- ½ tbsp turmeric
- ¼ tsp dried ginger powder
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 1 tbsp collagen
Garnish:
- Pinch of cinnamon
Preparation
Begin by adding coconut milk to small saucepan, and then add in turmeric, dried ginger powder, collagen, and a pinch of cinnamon. Heat over medium heat until it begins to bubble, but do not boil. Stir, pour into your favourite mug and finish with a pinch of cinnamon. Enjoy!
