If you've ever dreamed of hanging out with Brandon Walsh from Beverly Hills 90210 – this might be the vacation for you!
Jason Priestley owns a resort of quaint cottages in the surfing village of Ucluelet, BC on Vancouver Island which is about 5 ½ hours from Vancouver proper via car and boat. He co-owns the resort with his father Lorne, and stepmother Norma.

The resort has 6 different configurations to suit the needs of their different visitors from multi floor beachfront units to smaller one person or couples retreats.

The cottages bear names that are oh-so-west coast. The room above is the "Morning Mist", which includes all the creature comforts of home including a kitchenette, barbeque, TV, and a hot tub on the balcony with stunning views of Terrace Beach.

The Captain's Quarters is built for a King and Queen who just want to get away from it all. Spread across three levels, the cottage has enough room to sleep 8 for that extended family or friendly friends. It's also got a hot tub with more incredible views of Terrace Beach, because let's be honest, that's the whole reason you're here . Oh, right, and also a Brandon Walsh sighting.
The rates are reasonable too, ranging from $216 - $369/night for the Captain's Quarters down to $99 for the bachelor option.
I was in Ucluelet for a wedding a few years ago and can definitely say it's an incredible place for a rest and recharge. It's quiet, secluded and quintessentially Canadian. Getting to the resort can be a bit of a journey depending on where you're coming from, but it's definitely worth the trek.

Full disclosure: there's no Peach Pit in town, sorry.
