Spoken word sensation Shane Koyczan on the power of words

Just in time for National Poetry Month, Shane Koyczan performs his spine-tingling poem about body image, For Many.

He's touring the country, selling out theatres, and dazzling millions with his talent, but Shane Koyczan is not a guitar-wielding rockstar. The B.C.-raised poet is winning hearts with the beauty of his words, and feeding a hunger that only appears to be growing.

Today Koyczan performs his stunning poem For Many, which answers the question: if you could change anything about your body, what would it be?

He also tells guest host Shad how hard it has been to believe that he's beautiful, why a letter from an 8-year-old boy spurred him to write the poem, and why his artform seems to be resonating with more and more people.
