If you're on Porter Airlines and get grounded, you will now get paid. Gabor Lukacs is a passenger-rights advocate who fought for compensation for travellers bumped from domestic flights.

Central Park Five settlement
Yusef Salaam is one of the Central Park 5 -- a group of black and hispanic men wrongly convicted and imprisoned for the brutal rape of a New York jogger. Late last week, the city of New York approved a $40 million settlement for the men.

Wisconsin dog vomits up ring
When someone makes a grand gesture, it seems like a gag. But in the case of one Wisconsin woman, the gag came first -- and then her dog vomited the wedding ring she'd lost years before.
