Random, violent attack leaves one man dead and another in critical condition
One man is dead, and another had his hand severed after they were attacked in downtown Vancouver by a man with a knife in what police described as two acts of random violence. A 34-year-old White Rock resident is in custody awaiting charges. Bridgitte Anderson, the president and CEO of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade and a member of Save our Streets, spoke to CBC Vancouver about the attacks.
