Vancouver Park Board begins removing trees from Stanley Park

Stumps and logs were scattered across roads and trails near Prospect Point in Stanley Park on Monday, as the park board began removing trees with weakened branches and root systems. The board says it is removing close to 160,000 trees to reduce potential wildfire risk.
