The Queen was honoured for her charity work on Sunday with a picnic lunch in central London, wrapping up three days of celebration to mark her 90th birthday.
Guests paid £150 ($273 Cdn) each to attend the Queen's outdoor Patron's Lunch on Sunday. The food provided was thoughtfully prepared, but the weather did not always co-operate as they waited in the rain for the last major event marking her milestone birthday.
About 10,000 people bought tickets in the hopes of catching a glimpse of members of the Royal Family. Luckily, the rain tapered off by the time the royals arrived on The Mall to greet well-wishers.
