Windsor café serves tea (made from coffee!)
Windsor Morning's Jonathan Pinto tries coffee cherry tea at Anchor Coffee House on Huron Church Road
I find most people are either coffee or tea drinkers. Personally, I alternate, drinking tea during the week, and coffee on weekends. Sometimes, I'll even sip on a tisane — also known as herbal tea.
This week, I discovered a drink that really blurs the lines between these categories.
It's called coffee cherry tea. Also known as cascara, coffee cherry tea is made by steeping pitted, dried coffee cherries in hot water, and running that the liquid through a strainer. It's very fruity, slightly tart, but sweet.
