Motorcyclist dies in weekend Kingsville crash

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say one person is dead after a Saturday afternoon single-vehicle collision in Essex County involving a motorcycle.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say one person is dead after a weekend single-vehicle collision in Essex County involving a motorcycle.

It happened Saturday, Nov. 9, around 1:30 p.m. on County Road 34, in Kingsville, according to police — closing the area of the rural roadway between County Road 31 and Dolce Vita Avenue for several hours.

The motorcyclist is being identified by OPP as a 54-year-old from Ruthven.

Authorities are asking anyone who may have been driving in the area around that time and may have seen something — or might have dash-cam footage — to contact them.
