Not the outcome Blue Jays fans wanted, but Toronto grateful for the ride

Toronto Blue Jays fans wanted so badly for Game 5 to turn around. It just did not work out that way.

And with that, the season is over for the Jays after a 3-0 shutout loss to Cleveland.

Fans were reeling after the defeat, but grateful for the Jays' efforts and for bringing the city together yet again.

They were unwavering in their belief the boys could make a comeback in Game 5 and refused to let go of World Series aspirations.

Fans were also mindful that today could've been the last time they saw Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion in a Jays uniform.

The team also showed its fans love after the game.
