Riverdale's The Real Jerk front and centre in Rihanna and Drake's Work video
Back to back Rihanna and Drake videos?
There is no question where Rihanna and Drake shot the video for RiRi's Work — the grinning bright yellow sun of The Real Jerk restaurant is front and centre.
Drake, in a red and white sweat suit, and Rihanna, rocking a hooded pink fur coat, roll up to the Riverdale restaurant and walk in with the familiar sun beaming down on the duo in the video released Monday. (Or should we say, videos?)
The interior of the restaurant, at Gerrard Street and Carlaw Avenue, is nearly unrecognizable with its tables and chairs stowed away and instead, filled with dozens of dancers, many of whom were cast in Toronto.
Rihanna released a steamy snippet of the video on Friday.
Lily Pottinger, who co-owns the Real Jerk with her husband, said their restaurant was decked out to look like a club and several of the dancers were Riverdale residents.
"He really looks out for his Toronto people," she said of Drake, following the shoot.
The restaurant, which Drake often visits, was closed for a day and a half to accommodate the shoot earlier this month.
