Police release video in Toronto car wash slaying
Toronto police have released surveillance video which they say captured images of a suspect in a fatal shooting at a Scarborough car wash.
Emad Rozik, 49, of Toronto, was shot and killed on Tuesday afternoon at the Midland Car Wash at 1566 Midland Avenue, near Lawrence Avenue East.
Police say the video shows the suspect entering and leaving the car wash several times before and after the shooting.
Investigators are hoping someone will come forward to identify the suspect and the getaway car.
Police are asking the public to focus on the suspect's walk, mannerisms and clothing.
The suspect is described as a black man in his early twenties, about six feet three inches tall with a medium build and short, dark hair.
Police say he was wearing a long white T-shirt, long denim shorts, a black baseball cap, black Nike running shoes and white ankle socks.
It is not clear whether the victim and the suspect knew each other, police say.
Investigators would not comment on a possible motive for the shooting, but did say it's not believed anything was taken from the business.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Toronto police at 416-808-7400 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477.
