Car wash slaying victim identified

Toronto Police have identified the man shot and killed at a Scarborough car wash on Tuesday as 49-year-old Emak Rozik.

Toronto Police have released the name of the man shot and killed in the middle of the day at a Scarborough car wash. 

The victim has been identified as Emad Rozik, 49, of Toronto.

He was shot Tuesday at the Midland Car Wash at 1566 Midland Avenue, near Lawrence Avenue East, at about 1:30 p.m.

Police say Rozik asked a man to leave the car wash.  The suspect then shot Rozik and fled the scene.

Police released a description of the suspect on Wednesday.

He is described as male, black, 6'4", with a thin build. 

The slaying is the city's 27th homicide of the year.
