Toronto Blue Jays flag raised at City Hall
Mayor John Tory suggests that games be broadcast on a big screen at Nathan Phillips Square
With excitement growing about the team's first post-season appearance in 22 years, the Toronto Blue Jays flag was raised at Nathan Phillips Square today.
Members of city council and Mayor John Tory were on hand to fly the flag. Blue Jays mascot Ace also attended. Hundreds of fans turned out, most wearing Blue Jays gear.
Tory suggested that the games could be broadcast on a big screen in the square.

The Blue Jays will play their first playoff game on Thursday.
The game will start at 4:07 p.m. if the New York Yankees win or at 3:37 p.m. if the Houston Astros win the wildcard playoff tonight. For Game 2, the Jays will play at 12:45 p.m on Friday.
